Waste Management

Within the scope of European Union Harmonization Laws, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry published the Regulation on the Control of Waste Batteries and Accumulators (APAK for short) in the official gazette dated 31.08.2004, number 25569, "for the purpose of Protecting the Environment and Human Health." The APAK Regulation has imposed obligations on accumulator manufacturers, dealers, sellers, services, consumers, waste accumulator carriers, and recycling facility operators. The greatest responsibility in fulfilling these obligations has been given to accumulator manufacturers. AKÜDER was authorized by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry with its letter dated January 11, 2005, and numbered 03/226. As Aküsan A.Ş, our company has demonstrated its sensitivity on this issue as a member of AKÜDER in the collection of waste accumulators.
